BLED AND BOHINJ

Bled, Bled Island, for centuries the symbol of the area may be visited on one of the famous 'pletna'-boats, and it is customary to climb the 99 steps to the charming medieval chapel and ring the wishing bell in the hope that your dreams come true. An imposing cliff top castle broods over the lake and offers a stunning view across Bled, the surrounding area and Slovenia's highest peaks. Should you wish to view Bled in style, take a romantic carriage ride around the lake. Bled is an ideal base for exploring Slovenia's rich natural and cultural heritage in the surrounding countryside where there is also a wealth of activities on offer.
Bohinj is a part of the Julian Alps area, where the beauty of the nature reveals its best varieties. Bohinj abounds in fresh and clear waters and rocks rising sheer from the valley. Magnificent sunsets light up the crystal clear water of the Bohinj Lake. One can enjoy the serenity of the lake and its surroundings, mountains, woods and the beauty of nature. The amazing diversity of nature attracts and overwhelms even the most demanding guest or visitor. The diversity of Triglav National Park offers many possibilities to spend an active vacation or just enjoy in the silence of the nature. It attracts the visitor to come again and enjoy the sights and the environment that Bohinj offers.
LJUBLJANA
Ljubljana - This two hours' walk features the main sights in the Old Town, including the baroque cathedral of St Nicholas, the elegant Fountain of the three Carniolan rivers and the Town Hall; you will proceed further through the Town Square, the Old Square and the Upper Square, and cross the Cobblers' Bridge and the Triple Bridge, both designed by our famous architect Jože Plečnik. You will also explore the left bank of the Ljubljanica River, with a stress on the Congress Square that was named after the Congress of the Holy Alliance, held in Ljubljana in 1821. Several notorious buildings, as for instance the Slovene Philharmonic, the University, the Ursuline Church of the Holy Trinity and the classicist Kazina, surround the square. In the park, a statue of the antique Citizen of Emona reminds us of an early chapter of the city's distant past. POSTOJNA CAVES & HORSE STUD FARM LIPICA
Postojna Caves - The mysterious Postojna cave world is the part of Slovenia which has been carved, shaped and created by water; deep within these world-famous caves hide the most precious beauty created through millions of years, drop by drop, year after year...The 20-kilometre-long underworld system is a miracle in itself, but one becomes truly astounded at the look of the mysterious "human fish" (Proteus Anguinus), wondering at the strange form of life preserved in the underground kingdom. Another mystery of the underground ...The cave is accessible without special equipment, and has a constant temperature of 10 degrees Celsius. From the train, views soon begin to open up to the left and right of strange underground chambers whose end cannot be seen or even guessed at. All are decorated with shining stalagmites and stalactites. Practically every inch is covered with some adornment, in shades of brownish-white. It is almost as though great cathedral architects had been at work (though who knows who commissioned them?) and hidden here a silent testimony to their craftsmanship
Stud Farm Lipica - Along the border between Italy and Slovenia, in the vicinity of Sezana and Trieste, lays the Horse Stud Lipica, a green oasis in the middle of the Karst. It was founded in the year 1580 by the Austrian Archduke Karl, who was at that time the regent of Styria, Carinthia, Carniola, Istria and Trieste.....
